Found this aspiring shark-man amongst the barrier rocks on Morris Island, SC while the family and I were hunting for shark’s teeth. Here he is with some of our other finds. He was still the highlight! P.S. The artist has left patent fingerprints in the modeling substrate. As a forensic science instructor I can assert that the artist has a whorl fingerprint pattern on at least one finger (not the thumb) and loop patterns on several other fingers (likely thumb and pointer/middle fingers) based on their location and juxtaposition. A very personal touch.
